We would do anything to escape schoolwork. So we put a lot of effort into events: Halloween Dance, the Ring Dance, basketball, touch football, heavy drinking…
Every five or ten years we have had some sort of reunion among class members and spouses/partners. This page contains a collection of photos from some of those.
Here are some from the 10th reunion (1973, as the haircuts clearly show), at some motel on Long Island, NY.
And then, of course, was the warm up last summer at Put-In Bay, Ohio, orchestrated so nicely by Bill and Linda Smith.
August 1959. 24 young men packed up and left home to attend a small, free, tough technical college in Long Island. Four years later, 15 of them graduated with engineering degrees; nine others escaped captivity and are living freely out there somewhere.

This little blog provides some glimpses into that small group, most of whom are still good friends to this day, and a future I’m not sure we could have envisioned that afternoon at Sun Ship (see photo below).
